LMI is an interdenominational Christian organisation, which exists to serve the Church. Our motto is "We want the world to know Jesus". The mission was founded in September 1977 by Thomas and Yvonne McClean as YEMF
(Youth Evangelical Missionary Fellowship) and has grown from small beginnings to one that is now touching lives around the world. Officially recognised as a registered charity, LMI has the covering of an executive committee, trustees and council of reference. As a ministry we operate totally by faith, trusting God to meet all our needs through the prayers and support of His people.
