are all called to live as 'ambassadors for Christ' here and now in our everyday lives.
That's why LMI is committed to challenging and encouraging Christians to step out and live
extraordinary lives for the sake of the kingdom.
Our ministry team visits churches, mission conferences, youth events and Scripture Union groups to challenge people of all ages to consider their part in mission, not just locally but also globally. Over the years we have counselled and prayed with hundreds of people and helped them discover their place in mission. What a joy it has been to see people dedicate their lives to Christ and we thank God for those who are now serving Him with various mission organisations throughout the world.
LMI is thoroughly dedicated to reaching a lost generation through missions, both nationally and internationally. Not only are they fully active in this task, but they also activate others to catch the vision. LMI has brought to our church several speakers and singers who carry this passion too. We have been inspired and motivated for mission as they have ministered to us. No church can ever hope to fulfill the Great Commission wihtout a vibrant mission heartbeat at the centre of all activities. LMI will broaden your horizons and expose you to new challenges both at home and abroad.
Our two congregations have had strong links with LMI for several years. The Mission Awareness Programme has been very helpful to us. Through this programme we have been both informed and challenged. We have learned more about missionary work in some of the most remote parts of the world, such as The Andaman Islands. This in turn has led to the challenge of how we as congregations and individuals can support and be involved in missionary work... LMI's Mission Awareness Programme has a lot to offer congregations who are keen to increase their involvement in mission.
