LMI’s Leadership Seminars

Providing church leaders and pastors with biblical leadership training

LMI’s leadership seminars aim to provide church leaders and pastors in various parts of the world with biblical leadership training. There is a great need for this type of teaching, especially in developing countries where Christian leadership materials are not readily available. LMI not only seeks to provide this one-off teaching through the seminars, but at the end of a training session the pastors that attend are offered the opportunity to participate in a Leadership Study Programme, which is a distance-learning course that is part of LMI’s Bible Teaching Ministry.

Since 2004, when LMI first started to conduct leadership seminars, hundreds of pastors and church leaders have attended these events in various parts of Africa and South East Asia.  Providing a meal and refreshments to everyone who attends a seminar is an opportunity in which to be a blessing practically.  LMI also offers certain pastors who live in very isolated areas the funds for their travel expenses and accommodation to enable them to attend a seminar. Assisting pastors and leaders in this way doesn’t just have an impact on the individual who benefits directly, but it is also an investment in the local church.

Response to Leadership Seminars

The feedback that we have had from previous leadership seminars has been extremely positive and encouraging, reinforcing to us again and again that this is a worthwhile, effective and much needed way in which we can assist the national church. Sponsorship

As you can imagine, it costs a considerable amount to fund a leadership seminar from the publicity to the food and in some cases the hiring of a venue, not to mention the individual sponsorship for certain pastors to attend. LMI has invitations to conduct leadership seminars in different areas of the world but we urgently need to increase our ministry support base for this aspect of our work.
