In 1989 schools outreach became a part of the ministry of LMI. Since then teams have visited over one hundred and fifty schools in Northern Ireland. Opportunities to share about the love of Christ and the new life to be found in Him have extended beyond the shores of Northern Ireland as schools outreaches have been conducted in England, the Republic of Ireland and other areas of the world.
Multimedia presentations on topics relevant to young people today, music, drama, testimonies, and sessions linked to the Religious Education curriculum are all available through our schools work. Ministry amongst youth groups is also a priority of LMI’s youth and schools outreach work. Our goal is to point young people to Christ and challenge them to live heart and soul for His kingdom.
All of LMI’s youth and schools outreach work is conducted free of charge.

Excellent, engaging talks given by the team which challenged the pupils intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. The pupils were very attentive and challenged to consider how Christianity applies to them.
During the visit of LMI with Richard Pidgley over 60% of the pupils were able to hear Richard's story. During each session you could have heard a pin drop and as Richard spoke in a vibrant and sincere manner you could tell he was obviously striking a chord with many of the young people there. We know that many of the pupils were deeply moved by what Richard had to say and greatly impressed by them.
