Why go to school?

Today many young people do not see Christianity as having any relevance to their life. Whilst pursuing success, material possessions and notoriety the message of Jesus does not rank highly in the priorities of many. Others feel worthless and have no purpose for living so in pursuit of happiness and to fill the emptiness they have turned to drugs, sex and alcohol. All are looking for life and yet so many are unaware that Jesus died so that they might have life and life to the full. Sad to say that they view church as being boring and unapproachable and therefore what hope do they have of hearing the gospel? This is the reason we go to where they are - to school. Our team takes morning assemblies, RE classes, lunchtime specials and Scripture Union groups.

Schools Book Project

Another aspect of LMI’s schools outreach involves the distribution of relevant books and literature to young people free of charge. At special sessions books are distributed as part of LMI’s Schools Book Project.
