Youth Work

Going to youth groups and youth events is another way in which we can have an impact on the lives of young people. By challenging them to take seriously Christ’s offer of peace, forgiveness and new life, young people can be transformed, given hope and a purpose for living. Our youth team also visits youth groups as part of our Mission Awareness Programme in order to share about mission and explain how God can use all who love Him to make a difference.

In addition, LMI can conduct a youth outreach alongside a church by visiting the schools in the local area finishing with a weekend of youth events in the church. The pupils contacted during the week are invited to attend the weekend events and at the meetings are given the opportunity to respond to what they have heard.
