For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

God’s word is alive today because it is indeed the living word. It discerns truth from error and guides us through the journey of life. Its words speak loudly into the hearts and minds of those who read or hear them. And, as someone has rightly said, ‘The Bible is the only book whose author is present every time you read it’.

Perhaps God will give you an opportunity this week to speak or give the Word to someone else.  It could change their lives!

“Holy words long preserved

for our walk in this world,

they resound with God’s own heart;

Oh, let the ancient words impart.”
