Two LMI staff members, Jonathan Winter and Alan Dourish, are currently undertaking a Mission Awareness Programme in the midlands area of England.

Through the programme they are seeking to raise awareness and support for LMI’s Philippines Initiative, the aim of which is to work with two Bible Colleges in the Philippines, Mission Motivators in Samal and Maranatha Bible College in Baguio City, and to bring encouragement to Filipino churches.

Jonathan, who served as a missionary in the Philippines for 13 years, has developed course material to help prepare and equip the students for future work in mission fields across Asia. God willing, Jonathan and another LMI colleague, John Deaville, will travel to the Philippines this August to undertake this important work.

Happily, Jonathan and Alan have had a wonderful start to the programme in the midlands, having already spoken in five churches and with another six meetings to go.
