Youth and Schools Outreach - Update

LMI’s Youth & Schools Outreach Team have been blessed with wonderful opportunities to speak of Christ and explain the Bible in different schools since September, including: Integrated College Dungannon, Saintfield High School, Bloomfield Collegiate (Belfast), and St Mary’s High School (Newry) to name a few.

The work carried out since September has encompassed one-off school visits and extended SU group programmes.

LMI Youth and Schools Outreach Team in Tandragee Junior High School

The LMI Youth and Schools Outreach Team are in Tandragee Junior High School this morning, where they will meet Year 8 and Year 9 pupils to discuss identity and other issues from a Christian perspective.

Please pray that God will bless the sessions and that He will work by His spirit as Danny and Becky share from His word.

Youth and Schools Outreach Team visit Belfast Boys Model

Our Youth and Schools Outreach Team are in Belfast Boys Model School today, where they will meet with the school’s senior SU group.

Becky and Danny will be working through ‘Battle Ready’, a programme designed by the team about the armour of God from Ephesians 6.

Today will focus on the first part of the programme, with the team returning to the school to undertake the second part next week. Please pray that God will minister through the sessions as the team share from His word.

LMI Youth and Schools Outreach Team visit Carrickfergus College

The LMI Youth and Schools Outreach Team are at Carrickfergus College this morning, where they will meet AS students for an RE class exploring the realities of Christian persecution.

We’re delighted that Catalin Dieaconu is with the team today, getting his first experience of their work. He and his wife Simona are currently LMI mission candidates and are seeking support to begin their new roles – Catalin as a joint Mission Awareness Porgramme worker and Youth and Schools Outreach worker, and Simona as an administrator.
